The Goa Forward Party (GFP) has suspended Adv. Amit Sawant, stating that his actions were inconsistent with the party’s long-held position on protecting Goa’s land resources, particularly in the run-up to the Zilla Panchayat elections.
According to the party, the decision followed multiple complaints from local residents, prompting disciplinary action. GFP leaders said the suspension underscores their commitment to safeguarding land and responding to public concerns.
