Goa gets new DGP

Senior IPS officer from Delhi Bhimsen Bassi will be the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Goa following the transfer of the incumbent B S Brar.
The order transferring Bassi, a 1977 batch officer, to Goa, was issued by the Union Home Ministry today, sources said.
