Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai praised Goa’s communal harmony and suggested an in-depth study of the same since communities live in harmony and communal riots are non-existent. He also called for a study of the continental system of jurisprudence which was followed in Goa till 1961. The raw material and the practical approach (for this) are available in Goa. One needs to come to Goa and study it, the Governor said while speaking at the 35th Statehood Day Celebrations on Monday.
