The Goa government has announced a 4% reservation in Group ‘C’ posts for medal-winning sportspersons through direct recruitment. The initiative aims to recognise and support athletes who have achieved distinction at national and international sports events.
Issued by the Under Secretary (Personnel-II), the directive mandates that all government departments, semi-government corporations, autonomous bodies, and corporates reserve 4% of their vacancies for eligible sportspersons.
