Goa Police Anti-Narcotics Cell Arrests Mapusa Man with Cocaine Worth ₹65 Lakh

The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Goa Police has arrested Afnan Ghori, a resident of Mapusa, for allegedly possessing 127 grams of cocaine valued at approximately ₹65 lakh.

According to police officials, the contraband was recovered from Ghori’s residence during a search conducted by the ANC team. Following his arrest, the accused was produced before the court and has been remanded to seven days of police custody for further investigation.

Police said the case has been registered under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and efforts are underway to trace the source of the наркотics and identify possible links to a larger drug network.

The ANC has reiterated its commitment to intensifying its crackdown on drug trafficking and narcotics-related offences across the state.
