Goa’s Pride: Vasco Woman Becomes State’s Only BSF Recruit, Family Offers Thanks at Khapreshwar Temple

Goa is celebrating a proud milestone after 24-year-old Sneha Yadav from Vasco became the only candidate from the state to be selected for the Border Security Force (BSF). She is now posted on duty along the India–Bangladesh border, serving the nation.

Sneha’s mother, a devoted follower of Lord Khapreshwar, had taken a mannat (prayer vow) seeking divine blessing for her daughter’s selection into the force. With Sneha achieving her dream, the family believes their prayers have been answered. As an expression of gratitude, they organised kirtan, bhajan and seva at the Khapreshwar Temple in Baina.
