MARGAO: The Chowgule higher secondary school on Tuesday said the management will file their reply to the show-cause notice issued by the government to start admissions for the higher secondary school.
When Herald called upon Chowgule College Principal Dr R V Gaonkar to find out whether the Chowgule Education Society has any plans to reconsider its decision to close admissions, he merely said the Chowgule higher secondary school will file its reply to the show cause notice on Wednesday. “Tomorrow is the last date to file our reply to the government’s show cause notice and will submit our reply,” Dr Gaonkar said.
When his attention was drawn to the statement made by deputy Chief Minister Francis D’Souza that Chowgule Education Society can give reasonable time for the government to make alternate arrangements on the issue, Dr Gaonkar declined to offer any comment.
