Governor Dr S S Sidhu has extended greetings on the occasion of Dussehra.
In his message, the Governor said that Dussehra is an important and unique festival celebrated by people of India with enthusiasm, gaiety and spiritual fervor. Governor further said that the celebrations of such occasions, should aim at ending all the evil forces, and to promote values and virtues that sustain our life.
In his greeting, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat said that Dussehra is a traditional and an auspicious occasion, which symbolises victory of good over evil and virtues over vices and its widespread celebration fosters social solidarity, bonhomie and goodwill among the people.
