MAPUSA: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte stated that in order to realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of a developed India, the formation of a government under Modi’s leadership at the Centre is the craving need of the hour.
Addressing a corner meeting at Porvorim for BJP’s North Goa candidate Shripad Naik, he said that the Modi government has delivered different welfare schemes of the Centre to the people at the grass root level without any discrimination. Therefore, keeping all differences aside, the public at large will surely vote for the BJP.
While targeting the opposition Congress party, Khaunte said that the Congress is sowing the venom of caste politics in the society for no reason. But the voters are much aware of the Opposition’s foolish strategy and they would not fall prey to such petty politics, he added.
Khaunte said that Congress is lacking strong leadership. They have lost control looking at the large number of public attendance to party meets, just doing baseless allegations at BJP. Khaunte said that it is certain that BJP’s two lotuses from North and South Goa will bloom on June 4. Zilla Panchayat (ZP) Member Kavita Gupesh Naik, Penha de Franca sarpanch Swapnil Chodankar and Sonia Sanjay Pednekar and other panchayat members attended the corner meetings.
Later addressing corner meetings in Aldona constituency, Khaunte appealed to masses to get united and vote for the BJP in large numbers to realise the dream of a developed Bharat.
Prime Minister Modi has achieved unprecedented development in just 10 years of power, Khaunte said.
He also raised the question about what Congress actually did for the country during its 60-year rule.
The expansion and development of basic services, as well as the Nation’s progress in every sector, has changed the world’s perception about India, he added.
Former Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo, Zilla Panchayat (ZP) Member Manisha Naik and other panchayat members were present for the corner meetings.
