PANJIM: The State government has notified the 18-member Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board Committee.
As per the notification issued by the Department of Industries, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant is the committee’s president, while the Industries Minister is the vice chairperson and the Board’s Chief Executive Officer is the committee’s member secretary.
The Finance Minister, the Chairman of the Goa Industrial Development Corporation are also members along with the Chief Secretary and Secretaries of Industries, Environment, Town and Country Planning, Tourism, Revenue and Power Departments.
Besides these, the other members include nominees from the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Goa State Industries Association; Confederation of Indian Industry Goa; Travel and Tourism Association of Goa; Goa Technology Association.
