Govt seeks hotels for free quarantine centres

PANJIM: The Goa government has appealed to the tourism industry to allow their hotels to be used as free quarantine centres.

“The world is going through a pandemic. In these challenging times, it is important that everyone comes together to fight the war against COVID-19. The Government of Goa appeals to the hospitality industry to come forward and join the fight against COVID 19 by allowing their facilities to be used as free quarantine centers. These centres would be provided to the Goans who will be quarantined, without any charges,” a statement from the Goa Tourism Development Corporation PRO states.  Hotel and resort owners willing to offer their facilities for free have to send their details to [email protected] and [email protected].
