MAPUSA: The Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte on Tuesday said that rising unemployment is an issue in the State and government is working to reduce the same.
Addressing the Liberation Day Fundaito at Mapusa, Khaunte said that by the end of financial year 2017-2018, a new IT policy would be framed and new openings would be available for the youth in the sector.
Additional Collector Dasharath Redkar, Deputy Collector Gaurish Shankhawalkar, Mamlatdar Dasharath Gawas, DYSP Serafino Dias, PI Tushar Lotlikar and MMC Chairperson Rohan Kavlekar attended the function.
