PANJIM: Expressing confidence that the people of Panjim will not vote for BJP, Goa Suraksha Manch (GSM) candidate Anand Shirodkar has stated that his candidature will not lead to division of votes and that it is a straight fight between his party and the Congress.
Speaking to Herald, Shirodkar said, “My candidature will not lead to division of votes in the Panjim constituency. Three days back in the house to house campaign, initially I covered six parts of Ribandar area and to our surprise the voters of this area of the opinion that this time they will vote for a candidate other than Manohar Parrikar.”
