MARGAO: Chairman of Economic Development Corporation Sidharth Kuncolienkar on Sunday inaugurated S N & Co GST Suvidha Kendra at Margao set up by Shradda Naik who had undergone the training programme organized by EDC when GST was launched.
“This office will be a bridge between the small traders who cannot engage Chartered Accountants and the GST as it will guide the traders to file their taxes and the service will be offered at a nominal rate,” said Sidharth after inaugurating the office.
He disclosed that EDC had trained around 120 youngsters to start this type of service.
and even provided them with the necessary software and computer to offer GST filing service to small traders and added that this was the first such office to be inaugurated in Margao.
While lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi for coming up with the “one nation one tax” policy through GST, Sidharth said that now people have to pay only one tax as against the over 30 taxes they had to pay earlier.
While urging people and specially the small traders to use the service offered by Shradha Naik in filing GST he said some more such service providers will come in short time.
