PANJIM: Apart from medical waste, hair and feather waste from slaughter houses will be now treated at the Common Biomedical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF) at Kundaim.
The Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has granted its consent to M/s Biotic Waste Solutions Pvt Ltd — the concessionary operating the facility — for disposing hair waste, chicken feathers and slaughter waste at CBWTF.
