AGONDA: Two motorcycles collided head-on at Char Rasta near Canacona municipality building, causing severe injuries to both the riders. Canacona PI, Chandrakant Gawas informed that the condition of both the riders is serious.
Initially, both the riders were admitted to Canacona PHC first. However, one was subsequently shifted to South District Hospital at Margao, while the other one was taken to Goa Medical College, Bambolim. Head constable Anand Naik is further investigating the case under the guidance of PI Gawas.

The names of the victims are Mohan, who runs an establishment at Rajbag, Taarir and Mahesh Gaonkar, 35, from Indrawada, Gaodongri.
The injured were helped by Canacona chairperson Ramakant Naik and others present at the site during the time of the incident.
