PERNEM: A family from Parashte Pernem had a lucky escape as their house collapsed partially, on Saturday.
A house owned by one Amit Chinchkar partially collapsed due to heavy rains. According to sources, the kitchen of the house partially collapsed causing loss of Rs 4 lakh. However, no one was injured in the incident, though Amit’s mother was cooking when the wall collapsed.
The local ward councilor visited the affected family, which has appealed to the government for help.
