MARGAO: South Goa Congress candidate, Reginaldo Lourenco has exuded confidence of winning the seat with a comfortable margin with the blessings of the people.
“Without trouble, there is no gain. I am confident of victory in the election with the blessings of the people”, he said, when the media asked his feelings after filing his nomination papers after days of confusion and doubts.
When the media sought his reaction to Churchill Alemao’s offer to withdraw from the fray if he resigns as Curtorim MLA before the polls, Reginaldo shot back, “I wish to comment less on what is spoken by somebody. I am here to contest and win the election. And I want to make clear that I will go by the dictates of the Congress party in toto”.
He exuded confidence that all Congress workers will wholeheartedly work for his success in the election. “I have blessings of
the people”, he added.
