The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather advisory for North and South Goa, warning of moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds.
According to the alert, wind speeds of 50–60 kmph, gusting up to 70 kmph, are very likely to continue over the next 3–4 hours in many parts of the region.
