India Has Fuel Reserves for 50 Days, Says Government Amid Global Uncertainty

The government has stated that India currently has sufficient reserves of crude oil as well as petrol and diesel to meet demand for an extended period, easing concerns amid global uncertainties.

According to official sources, the country has adequate stocks of crude oil to last for approximately 25 days. In addition, reserves of petrol and diesel are also sufficient for another 25 days, bringing the total fuel sufficiency to around 50 days.
