PANJIM: Direct Benefit Transfer LPG (DBTL) scheme was launched in North Goa on June 1 by Central government where domestic cooking gas customers can pay market price for their refills and subsidy for the same would be credited to their bank account. Additional three months were also given to obtain Aadhaar card and submit it to gas distributor and their bank.
All refills will be charged at Rs 900 from September 1. Customer complied with Aadhar formalities will get advance subsidy in their bank account. Other customers will get such subsidy only on completion of Aadhar formalities. One can check Aadhar status in case of BPCL on www.ebharatgas.com under transparency portal.
