Inundated road being done up in Calangute

Taking advantage of the dry spell the project was initiated by MLA Lobo as promised

TEAM HERALD
CALANGUTE: Authorities have finally begun work to address the constant waterlogged portion of the road at Falcon resort bus stop at Naikka Vaddo in Calangute.
Shortly after Herald highlighted the problem faced by motorists and locals at the site, workers were seen digging up the road for the construction of a roadside drain.
At certain places, the road has been asphalted and widened to avoid water logging. The work is being carried out at a steady pace due to the dry spell since the past few days. The roadside drain is expected to address the constant accumulation of rainwater at the site and it will be a major relief to motorists and locals.
Calangute MLA Michael Lobo had assured to take up the necessary roadwork during a dry spell.
