PANJIM: A juvenile was arrested by the Anti Narcoitics cell with 460 grams of Charas, behind the St Cruz football ground, police said.
The drugs worth around Rs 70,000 were seized by police after they received a tip off that one person would be coming to deliver the drugs to a prospective client at that particular place.
Accordingly a trap was laid by the team led by PI Suraj Halarnkar. After positioning themselves near the Library, the team was able to apprehend one person who was found to have on his person 460 grams of charas, one mobile phone and cash of Rs 250.
A case under NDPS Act was registered against the accused and he has been admitted to Apna Ghar Merces.
