A police team was rushed to Karnataka but ‘foolishness’ of a Karnataka policeman gave an opportunity to the accused family to flee from their home.
“Our police team was not taken into confidence when the local constable approached a family member regarding the incident. The person gave an excuse of changing his clothes and fled from the back door. The house is locked now,” reported an officer.
The accused family lives in a chawl in Hubli.
