PANJIM: The Mapusa Police have arrested Pundalik Laxman Chavan, alias Lamani, a 28-year-old history-sheeter currently residing in Nagoa and originally from Hubli, Karnataka, for allegedly being involved in a house theft case at ACACIA Villa in Parra . Gold and diamond ornaments worth approximately Rs 7 lakh have been recovered from him.

According to the police, the accused was a history sheeter and involved in multiple house theft cases across Goa and Karnataka.
