PANJIM: KTC Drivers & Allied Employees Association, held a rally in Panjim on Wednesday demanding implementation of the 7th pay commission recommendations to employees of Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KT C).
KTC employees from all sections have unanimously decided to serve a 21-day indefinite strike notice on the government as well as KTC.
Addressing a meeting, Christopher Fonseca said that 7th pay commission is neither a bonanza, nor a gift for the KTC employees but rather it is an established right of the employees and part of their fundamental service conditions by virtue of three decades old settlements.
