Landslide reported at Khandepar

PONDA: A landslide occurred at Kerya-Khandepar by the side of national highway on Monday.

The locals said mud with huge boulders rolled down and fell on the retaining wall and rested on it. However, the wall prevented the boulders and mud from coming onto the national highway. People recalled the major landslide at Kerya-Khandepar some five years back which had forced the authorities to close the national highway for several days for clearing the debris.
