A leaking water pipeline has led to the formation of a large and potentially dangerous pothole on a busy road in Cunchelim, raising safety concerns among local residents and motorists.
Residents say the problem has persisted for several days, with water from the damaged pipeline continuously seeping onto the road surface and gradually eroding the surrounding area, resulting in a hazardous pothole.
Locals claim they have repeatedly raised the issue with the Public Works Department Goa and the Mapusa Municipal Council, but allege that their complaints have not yet received any response or action from the authorities.
Residents have urged the concerned departments to urgently repair the leaking pipeline and fix the damaged stretch of road to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of commuters using the route.
