Lockdown, mining transportation start together at Usgao

PONDA: Week long lockdown starts at Usgao from Friday, however roads   were seen busy with several mining transportation truck plying with ore from Usgao.

According to locals the last many months the there was no transportation of mining from Usgao. Some locals even questioned if complete lockdown imposed then how mining trucks are operating from Panchayat area.

Village Panchayat Usgao–Ganjem on Thursday morning held joint meeting of the members of panchayat, traders and citizens at panchayat hall and after discussing the increasing COVID 19 cases in the panchayat area decided to go for complete lockdown from  May 7 to 13 May upto 7 pm. However essential commodity shops will remain open. 

Deputy Sarpanch Ramnath Dangi appealed villagers to observe the lockdown to curb COVID cases.
