PANJIM: Goa Lokayukta Justice P K Misra will on Wednesday hear the complaint filed by Adv Aires Rodrigues over the Rs 70 crore Shiroda land ‘scam’.
Besides former MLA Subhash Shirodkar, Rodrigues has named Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and the Chief Secretary as respondents.
The Lokayukta has issued notice to the Chief Secretary seeking a report and directing him to place the entire records of the land acquisition.
Rodrigues in his complaint has drawn the attention of the Lokayukta as to how Shirodkar who resigned as an MLA on October 16 and joined the BJP has benefitted from a “massive land scam in collusion with the government’s gross act of maladministration.”
