PANJIM: Lucky 7’s new salvor, AMS Marine LLC, Egypt, are preparing the plan of action to salvage the offshore casino ship from Miramar beach. Having its suboffice in Dubai, nine technicians of the firm arrived in Goa on Friday to assist in the exercise.
The vessel will initially be repaired and then taken in deep waters for underwater welding. “It will then be refloated to Jaigad or Mumbai dry dock yard for major repairs.
The local authorities will conduct a final inspection before giving approval to anchor the vessel in Mandovi River,” an official said.
