MARGAO: Vasco police on Wednesday identified the two women who committed theft of a gold chain from a jewellery shop in the heart of Vasco city.
The CCTV footage, which was sent to the Maharashtra police, revealed that the two women who committed the theft are from Maharashtra and were arrested by the police several times. They are involved in committing theft of gold ornaments and eight cases have been registered against them.

Police said that they often change their address and are always on the move.
It may be recalled that on Tuesday afternoon the accused posing as customers allegedly stole a gold chain worth Rs 1,11,300 from a jewellery shop at Vasco.
