Several applicants under the Goa government’s Mahje Ghar Scheme received their Sanad certificates during a Jana Kalyan Shibir organised by the Department of Statistics and Planning in Vasco.
The certificates were distributed by Assistant Collector (South Goa) Najma Salam in the presence of Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar, Deputy Collector Pratap Gaonkar, the Mamlatdar, outgoing Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) Chairperson Girish Borker, and ward councillors.
The camp was organised to facilitate applicants under the Mahje Ghar Scheme by providing essential documentation and extending government services closer to the public.
In addition to the distribution of Sanad certificates, dedicated information counters were set up at the venue to assist applicants, clarify doubts, and address queries related to the Mahje Ghar Scheme and its application process.
Officials said the initiative forms part of the government’s efforts to streamline public service delivery and ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive timely assistance under welfare schemes.
