SANGUEM: A 35-year-old resident from Ravanfond, Margao died due to drowning on Sunday in the backwaters of Selaulim Dam at Dapodem Bhati in Sanguem. Police sources informed that the deceased Siddesh Mulli along with his two friends had gone for a bath at Dapodem.
However, Mulli failed to judge the depth of the water and subsequently died due to drowning.
After receiving information, Sanguem Police rushed to the site and retrieved the body. Sanguem police conducted the panchanama and sent the body for post mortem.
