NEW DELHI: Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho was put in a fix by the Supreme Court on Wednesday in the infamous multi-crore power scam case giving last adjournment on finding the lawyers from all sides seeking yet another adjournment.
The Bench of Justices N V Ramana and S Abdul Nazeer ordered to list the matter after one week while making it clear that “no further adjournment will be granted in the matter.”
Godinho had come in appeal in the Supreme Court in 2011 against an order of the Goa Bench of the Bombay High Court but he has since defected from Congress to BJP.
