VASCO: Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho unfurled the tricolour at Tilak Maidan on the 57th Liberation Day. The Minister reiterated the commitment of the Government to undertake all round development in Goa. Addressing the gathering, Godinho said “The government wants progress in all fields. There are several projects that have been inaugurated and the Government was progressing at a great pace.” He further informed that he has inaugurated atleast 15 Panchayat Ghars, halls and community centers for the welfare of the people of Goa. “The development is uniform in all corners of Goa during the BJP rule. Today we have to concentrate on improving education, improving health sector and also improving the panchayat areas and village life of the people of Goa”, he stated. Godinho said that though the Chief Minister is unwell his Council of Ministers is working and putting efforts to make sure the development of the State is not hampered. “Manohar Parrikar is not well, all the MLAs and Ministers have worked together for development”, Godinho reiterated.
