MARGAO: A crucial meeting has been fixed for December 17 to resolve challenges faced by farmers in Navelim village. Set to involve key officials from the Sewerage and Infrastructural Development Corporation of Goa Limited (SIDCGL) including its Managing Director, the meeting aims to find comprehensive solutions to the ongoing sewage network problems.

Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira announced this while speaking to media persons at the South Goa District Collectorate and also revealed that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has approved an important sewerage network expansion project.
The project will specifically target the South Goa District Collectorate and the South Goa Planning and Development Authority (SGPDA) market complex, connecting these critical locations to the existing underground sewage line. He added that work on laying the sewage network at
the SGPDA market complex would commence soon.
