MARGAO: The former tourism minister and Nuvem MLA Mickky Pacheco announced support to all Congress candidates of Zilla Parishad in Raia, Colva, Benaulim and Nuvem, on Saturday.

Mickky also said that in 2022 he will form Congress government in Goa but chose to remain silent on when he plans to officially join the Congress.
Mickky has gone all out against the BJP calling it communal, alleging it of breaking mosques, chapels, troubling priests and nuns so on and so forth. Mickky has also criticised Churchill Alemao of not knowing anything about the CAA and also of not opposing the CAA in the Assembly.
Mickky is all praises of Congress. He said, “I have faced lot of troubles because of this (Congress) party. However, to prevent people from being troubled by the BJP I will set aside my personal enmity and trouble given to me and now I am together with Congress.”
Attacking Churchill on his statement of having supported Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant for his vision, Mickky said, “I don’t see the vision of CM which is claimed by Churchill. Churchill should have spoken in the Assembly and asked for division of votes if he was against CAA.”
Mickky further asked the BJP government to put their own house in order, give food, shelter to the people who are in trouble.
“2022 Mickky Pacheco will form the government of Congress. Even if I have to sell my kidney I will. This government has given a lot of troubles to people and even me,” Mickky said.
