VASCO: Goa State Congress Committee spokesperson Sankalp Amonkar on Monday accused Power Minister and Mormugao MLA Milind Naik of playing “cheap” politics to harass the local youth.
Addressing a press conference in Vasco, Amonkar alleged that Naik used his position and booked MPT-owned Deepvihar School playground for a long period, with the sole intention to refrain the local youth from organising football tournament.
To support this, Amonkar claimed that he has enough evidence to prove that the MPT authorities acted under Naik’s pressure and rejected the application of local youths who were planning to organise a football tournament at Deepvihar school playground.
