PANJIM: A minor fire broke out in an automobile shop in Panjim on Tuesday allegedly due to a short circuit. The fire was doused within minutes by the employees at the shop. Fire department had in the meantime rushed its fire tender to the spot.
“Before we could reach, the fire was doused by the fire extinguisher fitted at the shop. No major damages or casualty was reported,” a fire official said.
Preliminary report ascertained that the fire was a result of short circuit.
