Water Resources Department Minister Subhash Shirodkar has announced that work on the proposed Mirabag Bandara Project will be halted for at least two to four months.
Speaking on the issue, Shirodkar said the temporary halt would allow time to address concerns raised by local residents and stakeholders. He added that if the suspension of the project satisfies the people, he is agreeable to the decision.
The minister further stated that a final decision regarding the project will be taken after holding discussions with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
