MARGAO: The Chief Officer of Margao Municipal Council (MMC) Agnelo Fernandes issued a show cause notice to the owners of an illegal structure after receiving complaint from GOACAN and ordered stoppage of any further construction work.
“The concerned party has been hereby directed to stop the work forthwith and to demolish the illegal construction or to show sufficient cause to the satisfaction, so as to why action to demolish the said work should not be taken under provision of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968,” the notice issued by the MMC CO stated.
