MARGAO: In a shocking incident at Tamne, Poinguinim, Maya Anand Pagi (50) and her daughter Ankita Prakash Polgi (26). who were reported missing on Sunday night, were found dead by drowning in a pond close to their house.
The tragic incident took place when the local community was attending the Shigmotsav festival.

A massive hunt was launched to search the duo by the locals, along with the police and fire department personnel after their relatives realised they were missing.
The body of Ankita, was found in a pond while her mother, Maya, was found on Monday, some 500 metres away from the pond, near some trees and bushes.
