The MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2026 Wild Card has entered Phase 2 after an action-packed group stage at the Esports World Cup. FUT Esports and The HUNS Esports topped their respective groups to earn direct qualification to the Wild Card Semi-finals, while Victory Song Gamers bowed out of the tournament after finishing at the bottom of Group A.
FUT Esports finished Group A with an impressive 3-1 record to secure first place, while The HUNS Esports remained unbeaten in Group B, completing the stage with a perfect 3-0 record. Their strong performances earned them a bye into the next phase.
The remaining six teams will now compete in a cross-group gauntlet on Day 3, where every match is a best-of-three series with elimination on the line.
From Group A, Alpha7 secured second place with a 3-1 record, followed by The MongolZ, who also finished 3-1 but were separated through the tournament’s tiebreaker rules. King of Gamers Club claimed the final qualifying spot despite ending with a 1-3 record.
In Group B, Team Falcons MENA advanced in second place after finishing 2-1, while Sunset Ravens progressed with a 1-2 record. Nightmare Esports also qualified despite failing to win a match, ending the group stage at 0-3.
Three teams in Group A finished level on points, forcing organisers to apply official tiebreaker rules. Teams were first ranked by head-to-head results, followed by total winning time, shortest individual victory and longest winning game if required.
Day 3 begins on July 3 with Nightmare Esports taking on The MongolZ, while King of Gamers Club will face Sunset Ravens. The winners will then meet Team Falcons MENA and Alpha7 respectively for places in Phase 3.
The surviving teams will eventually challenge FUT Esports and The HUNS Esports in the semi-finals, with the final two contenders battling for the last remaining Main Stage berth.
