In a fresh bout of troubles, Police Sub-Inspector Sunil Gudlar was shown claiming that his seniors are also accepting bribes, though he is not heard naming them.
The revelation comes in a fresh spy-cam video, which was a continuation to earlier tape that showed Gudlar selling drug packets to two girls of foreign national.
The tape also shows that the girls, whose nationalities are not yet known, asked Gudlar that his senior police officers are against bribe. To this, Gudlar is shown replying that he was paying money to him every month and every year.
“He is a very smart guy (referring to his senior)…you show him the money and his mouth will be shut,” Gudlar says to the girls.
The video was reportedly shot four months back when SP Veenu Bansal was heading the Cell.
The PSI is also seen on the tape flinging Rs 500 notes in the air. “We believe in Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi) notes. I want this,” he is heard saying as he shows the rupee notes to the girls.
Police have not ruled out interrogation of former ANC chief Bansal in this case as Gudlar was working under his commands. IPS officer Bansal was recently shunted to Arunachal Pradesh while Gudlar during the same period was transferred to Security.
Gudlar’s lucky days came to an abrupt end after the SP’s transfer.
