Navelim resident held for abusing police

 Colva police registered offences under section 353 and 504 of IPC upon written complaint of Sadashiv Hunshikatti, PSI attached to Traffic Cell, Colva that one Shankar  Naik verbally abused the PSI and his staff and further used criminal force to prevent the PSI and his staff from discharging their lawful duties. The offence was reportedly committed near Colva Plaza, Colva, at around 6 pm. The accused is a resident of Fiadettem in Navelim. The accused was arrested and subsequently released.
