The Nationalist Congress Party that recently decided to meet the CM to submit a memorandum for demanding a CBI inquiry into the police-politician-mafia drug nexus maintained with Atala’s disappearance their stand for a deep probe was vindicated.
NCP Spokesperson Trajano D’Mello said at least now the CM should step down from his pedestal of prestige and in the interest of the State, immediately call for a CBI probe into the drug trade nexus that has a high possibility of linkages with terror outfits.
D’Mello said the CM should not forget that a high terror alert has been sounded in the State and in the wake of this the probe into the drug nexus should be taken up on a top-priority basis.
