NCPOR Launches First Direct Flight from Goa to Antarctica, Carrying 18 Tons of Supplies

The National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR) successfully operated its first direct flight from Manohar International Airport, Goa, via Cape Town, carrying 18 tons of essential gear, medicines, and provisions for the Bharati and Maitri research stations in Antarctica.

The mission was supported by GMR Aero Cargo, Alpha Crux, and Ultima Antarctic Logistics, ensuring smooth transportation of critical supplies to the remote research outposts.
