Passengers aboard a private bus narrowly escaped a potential tragedy this morning when a lap truck veered dangerously close to their vehicle in Shivnagar, Tilamol.
According to eyewitness accounts, the truck was headed straight toward the bus when the alert bus driver made a swift maneuver, pulling the vehicle to the roadside just in time to avoid a major collision. The quick action likely saved the lives of everyone on board, officials said.

The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving behind the vehicle and its cleaner. Authorities have since taken the truck cleaner into custody for questioning, as part of an ongoing investigation led by the Curchorem Police.
