The Colvale Police have arrested 25-year-old Roshan Japrel, a native of Nepal currently residing in Calangute, for alleged possession of 3.5 kg of ganja at Thivim Railway Station.
According to police, Japrel had arrived from Mumbai when he was apprehended during a routine check. Investigations revealed that he had a prior case registered against him in 2024 under the NDPS Act by Saligao Police.

The accused has been booked under relevant provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation is underway to determine the source of the contraband and possible links to a larger supply network.
